First Female Chief at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø<\/h2>\r\n

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø has a new chief of police and for the first time in ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s history, a woman is leading the department! Jennifer Rodgers brings 28 years of law enforcement experience with the Oklahoma City Police Department to the job. She is an alumna, holding a Master of Arts in criminal justice from ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. She also served as adjunct professor in ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s criminal justice program.

The Oklahoma City Police Department Honor Guard presented the colors and student Kimberly Dychman sang the National Anthem.

President Henry read the Oath of Honor and performed the official pinning, joking that he had never pinned anyone through a bulletproof vest before.
